The $27.5m loan for American Mortgage Consultants will support a recent acquisition of another business outsourcing company.

The New York-based lower mid-market lender has also announced a new hire and several promotions.

 The Chicago-based lender has raised more than two-thirds towards its fourth senior loan fund equity target.

TICC Capital Corp failed to garner enough votes to approve the BDC’s planned sale of its investment advisor to Benefit Street Partners. Following the vote TICC plans to keep the existing advisor as the portfolio manager.  

The direct lending group at the alternative investment firm has acquired a £500 million portfolio of UK mid-market loans from the British bank and entered into a non-exclusive partnership with Barclays for origination of future UK transactions.
