Our Annual Review provides the opportunity to look back and celebrate some outstanding achievements of 2022. Amid the global uncertainty, it was a testing year for the private debt industry, so those lenders that have shown their mettle over the last 12 months are especially worthy of note. Our Private Debt Investor Awards for 2022 recognise the top performers in more than 50 categories.
A warm welcome to the Private Debt Investor Awards for 2021, highlighting the managers, institutional investors and advisers that have, in the eyes of their peers, set the benchmark during the year. There are 53 categories in this year’s awards, now in their ninth year, across three regions: the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific, as well as the much-coveted global prizes, including this year, for the first time, Responsible Investor of the Year.
It may have been a year beset by a global pandemic, and in which private debt fund managers found raising capital something of an uphill task. But it was also one in which PDI readers flocked to our awards poll and registered a record number of votes in the almost 50 categories that were up for grabs. In our 2020 Annual Review, we celebrate the winners of the PDI Awards and look back at how private debt came through a very testing year.
For the seventh year, we recognise the managers, institutional investors and advisory firms considered by their peers to have been the standard bearers of the private debt asset class.
