ESO’s real estate team hires asset management head

The London-based fund manager has brought in Zena Namih from private equity advisory firm Spring11 Advisory Services.

ESO Real Estate, the real estate arm of European SME-focused fund manager ESO Capital, has hired Zena Namih as a director to lead its asset management function.

Namih will monitor and manage assets in funds across multiple jurisdictions. She was previously a director at Spring11 Advisory Services, which advises large-cap private equity firms on portfolio acquisitions. In her time there, Namih advised on more than €50 billion worth of deals.

ESO Real Estate provides debt and equity solutions for opportunistic and special situations in the UK, Ireland, DACH markets and Northern Europe. Its projects have included a mixed-use development at Kings Cross in London as well as developing build-to-rent homes in the north-east of the UK.

Coinciding with Namih’s hire, ESO Real Estate has also brought in Sunny Sanghera as an associate in the investment team. He was previously an analyst in the M&G Real Estate Finance team with responsibility for the origination and execution of whole loans across Europe.

ESO Capital is a London-based fund manager providing private capital solutions for smaller-scale European companies. In May last year it acquired Core Capital, the UK private equity firm, allowing the combined entity to offer a broad range of hybrid debt and equity financings.
