Golding Capital Partners has announced the final close of Golding Private Debt 2016 in December 2018 with total commitments of €580 million. The fund, which is the largest private debt investment programme raised by the firm to date, provides acquisition and expansion capital, predominantly in the form of senior debt, for mid-market companies in Western Europe and North America.
Golding Private Debt 2016 has already committed to 15 primary funds, secondary and co-investment transactions.
The fund received significant support from existing investors, which made up 80 percent of the total capital raised.
Golding Private Debt 2014, the previous fund in the series, raised €413 million in December 2015.
