New York State Common Retirement Fund approves $300m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two North America-focused private debt funds.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has agreed to commit $150 million to Hollis Park Value Fund and $150 million to TSSP Adjacent Opportunities Partners, as disclosed in the pension’s February report.

The $197.30 billion US public pension’s allocation to private debt currently stands at 4.10 percent. It has made 3 commitments to private debt funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $450 million.
